When a warship visits its home community the welcome and hospitality, both civic and public, it receives is all important.

Through our Auxilairy Crews and the relationships we hold in the locality, the BWA generates a Ships Support Package(SSP) to ensure our sailors are well recieved. 

An SSP draws together all manner of offers and provisions to enhance a sailors time in their affiliated community.  These packages may include discount or free offers at restuarants, hotels, local attractions, night clubs, bars, sporting events, leisure pursuits, theatre or concerts tickets, etc.

All such donations to the packages are gratefully received by the BWA and even more appreciated by the sailors aboard and their visiting familes.
